The Launceston and District Snooker league has been running for over 50 years. We have one division comprising of 9 teams from 6 local clubs. All 9 teams play each other 3 times. Every league match is played on a handicap basis. These handicaps are set at the annual AGM at the start of the season and altered if necessary after 8 and 16 matches have been played. Teams are also permitted to "double up" if they are one or two players short, but the team will only receive half a point if these frames are won.

         We also run a Knockout Cup competition which is run on the same handicapped basis and also 2 Singles a doubles and a 3person6reds competitions. One Singles is run off scratch all other competitions are handicapped.

At the end of season presentation night, the league champions play against the Pick of the League team and the final of the Handicapped Singles is also held.  This is held at the Calstock Social Club and we thank them, their staff and members, for always making this a good evening.
